About HerbaLog
HerbaLog documents traditional and natural medicine treatments with full citations from PubMed, NIH, CDC, WHO, Medscape, NAFDAC, SAHPRA, Africa CDC, journals, books, and community sources including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and X. Every entry links to its source. Community outcome ratings (Yes / Partial / No) are logged as anecdotal and do not constitute clinical evidence. Laboratory-validated data is the desired standard for all listed therapies.
While the majority of documented remedies are plant-based, HerbaLog recognises that traditional medicine has always drawn from the full natural world — including fungi (mushrooms, moulds), animal products (fish oils, bee propolis, collagen), marine and insect extracts, minerals, and environmental sources. Where peer-reviewed evidence supports a non-plant remedy alongside appropriate safety data, it will be documented here with the same rigour.
